Less paperwork after closing time. More time for the shop.

I build tailor-made solutions for sport and fashion retailers and other small businesses across Switzerland that take over the work someone types up, searches for or chases by phone today: supplier catalogues turn into finished orders, delivery notes no longer need checking by hand, and before the pre-season order you see what actually sells.

I have worked in a sport shop myself, I know the daily routine from the inside, and I come by in person, anywhere in Switzerland.

// what I solve

Where many shops get stuck

  • solved

    Pre-season orders and purchasing

    Typing up supplier catalogues by hand

    Every season, catalogues and order confirmations arrive as PDFs: hundreds of items, every brand with its own layout. Before anything can be ordered, someone types it all up.

    Afterwards

    Upload the catalogue, tick the items, and the finished order goes to the supplier. No more evenings spent typing.

    I have already built a solution for this, see below.

  • pilot wanted

    Stock and reordering

    Reordering on gut feeling

    Which sizes and colours sell, what stays on the shelf? The numbers are in the till, but nobody has time to analyse them before the next pre-season order is due.

    Afterwards

    Before every pre-season order, one clear list: what sold per size and colour and what stayed on the shelf. Plus suggestions from trends and past sales on what to order and in what quantities. No more leftover stock at the end of a season.

    I am looking for two or three shops in Switzerland to pilot this.

  • common

    Documents and delivery notes

    Typing the same details three times

    Order confirmations, delivery notes and invoices arrive as PDFs or on paper and are keyed into the system by hand. The same numbers every time, with the same risk of typos.

    Afterwards

    Every detail is entered once and shows up wherever it is needed. When goods arrive, you see at a glance what is missing.

These are examples. Usually it is the same details moving by hand from paper into the system, or from a PDF into an order. What is it for you?

What I have built so far

Every project starts with an everyday problem, not with technology.

  1. Sport and fashion shop in the Engadine

    Purchasing without retyping

    in development

    The problem

    Seasonal supplier catalogues as PDFs, hundreds of items per document, dozens of brands with their own layouts. Everything was typed up by hand before a single order could be placed.

    The solution

    Catalogues are read automatically, the team picks items right next to the original, and the finished order goes to the supplier by email. Corrections make the system more accurate every season. Next up: suggestions on what to reorder, based on sales, stock levels & trends.

  2. Freight forwarders

    QuoteParser

    live

    The problem

    Freight forwarders key their carriers’ rate sheets into their transport software by hand. PDFs, Excel, XML, each in a different format.

    The solution

    QuoteParser reads the documents with AI, validates the values and hands them straight to forwarding software such as CargoWise or Magaya. Instead of hours of typing, a quick check.

// how a pilot works

Start small, pay once it helps

  1. 01

    Visit

    20 to 30 minutes, free of charge. I’m happy to come by in person and look at the work the way it runs today, or we can simply talk on the phone, whichever suits you best.

  2. 02

    Brief

    Within 48 hours, one page: what happens today, how it will run afterwards, how much time it saves, fixed price and date.

  3. 03

    Build

    2 to 4 weeks. Half the price at the start. You test with real documents, I adjust.

  4. 04

    In daily use

    Once the solution has run for two weeks and does what we agreed, you pay the second half. Otherwise you don’t.

No software subscription and no per-seat licence. A pilot is deliberately small and sized for an SME budget. You know the fixed price before anything starts.

And after the pilot?

The solution is yours: source code, data and access. You pay for it once; there is no subscription for the software. To run it, you choose:

  • I run it for you

    recommended

    For a small fixed monthly fee I take care of hosting (in Switzerland if you prefer), backups, security updates and small changes. You need no IT of your own. Cancel any month.

  • You run it yourself

    You or your IT partner run it. You get the complete source code and a guide any professional can pick up. You can switch either way at any time.

// who is behind it

One contact person who comes by

I am Peeter Mauring. I grew up in Estonia, have lived in Switzerland since 2018 and went to school in Zurich. Until spring 2026 I worked in sales, rental and service at Ski Service Corvatsch in St. Moritz. There I saw how much time in a shop goes into orders, delivery notes and lists.

Today, with Mauring Digital Solutions, I build solutions for exactly that: lean, tailored to one business, and by someone who comes by when something does not fit.

// frequent questions

Frequent questions

Do I need new software for this?

No. The solution works with what you already have: email, PDF, Excel and your existing system.

What does it cost?

Two parts, both clear up front. The solution itself costs a fixed price that we put in writing after the visit: half at the start, the second half only once it has worked in daily use for two weeks. After that it is yours. To run it, you can pay a small fixed monthly fee for hosting, backups, updates and small changes, cancellable any month. Larger extensions are again quoted at a fixed price.

Why no subscription like other software?

Because the solution is built for your business and should belong to you. You pay for it once. The only monthly cost is running it, and you can cancel that at any time or take it over yourself without losing the solution.

Does it work with bexio, Abacus or Excel?

Usually, yes. I build around your existing system, not against it. After the visit I will tell you honestly whether it works for you.

What happens to my data?

I use your data only for your solution and follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Where the data is stored is set out in the brief.

What if you are ever unavailable?

The solution keeps running, and it belongs to you. You receive the complete source code, your data and documentation any developer can pick up. For as long as you like, I am happy to look after running and maintaining it myself.

What would it be for you?

Tell me where your time goes, in three lines or in detail, whatever suits you. I read every message myself and get back to you within one business day with an honest first assessment.

or email me directly:peeter.mauring@krattid.com

// what is a kratt?

What is a Kratt?

In Estonian folklore, a farmer builds a helper out of hay and old tools: the Kratt. It does the work that would otherwise pile up. My Kratts are made of code, not hay. Hence the name krattid: Estonian for “the Kratts”.
